Two year warranty†
If your glasses or prescription sunglasses are found to be defective, we will replace them up to 2 years from the date of purchase, just bring your glasses or sunglasses along with your receipt as proof of purchase into the Budget Eyewear store that you purchased them from.
†Conditions: The Budget Eyewear warranty is subject to proof of purchase and product return. It is only available within 2 years from the date of purchase. Does not cover loss or theft. Unfortunately, we don't offer spare parts or repair services.
You will be responsible for any expenses in returning them to us and collecting them. We will be responsible for any other expenses. Please note that the benefits given to you under this express warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law and other laws. That is, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Prescription Alterations
If you have a prescription change within 4 weeks from date of purchase we will provide and fit new lenses FREE of charge.
Care for your glasses
We will happily provide FREE cleaning and adjustment for the lifetime of your glasses.
Contact lenses
If you're recommended an alteration to your initial prescription within 4 weeks of purchase you can exchange them for FREE. And if they are more expensive, we will simply deduct the cost of your original lenses from the price of your new lenses so that you only pay the difference. If you're recommended to discontinue use due to intolerance of conventional contact lenses, we'll refund the cost of the lenses within 4 weeks of purchase.
†Conditions: The Budget Eyewear warranty is subject to proof of purchase and product return. It is only available once within 12 months from original purchase date of complete pairs (frame and prescription lenses). Does not cover loss or theft. Warranty: certain brands provide extended warranty periods of up to 3 years from date of purchase.
